A four-day course of study and reflection on the current challenges and opportunities for rural churches in mission

Co-hosted by Revd Canon Jeremy Martineau (Director for the Centre for Studies in Rural Ministry), and including other expertise on rural mission

Open to everyone from outside the college on a residential or non-residential basis

The course will include the following discussion topics:

  • Evangelism in a rural context
  • The changing shape of rural communities
  • Rural churches and local schools
  • Issues of leadership and structure
  • Ministry and mission to visitors
  • current environmental concerns

There will be a keynote address on the Wednesday evening by Bishop David Walker, Bishop of Dudley.

Cost:

For the whole course including overnight accommodation in college and all meals: £275.00
For the whole course excluding overnight accommodation, but including meals: £150.
Daily rate: £50.00 (Tuesday, Thursday or Friday)
