Support for your organisation in Buckinghamshire
to help others switch to  digital tv
is being offered by Community Impact Bucks

Some people you support and work with may be worried about the switch to digital TV. They will turn to a local organisation that they know and trust for informaiton and advice.  Community Impact Bucks can help you help them.

Community Impact Bucks has been appointed by digital outreach to work with the voluntary and community sector during the run up to digital TV switchover by providing grants, materials, free training, support and guidance to enable you to inform the people you support.

If you work with or are in contact with
  • Older People
  • People who are socially isolated
  • Those with senory, mobility or dexterity impairments
  • People who have mnental health conditions
  • Those with English as a second language
  • People with learning difficulties
You could run a  special session with refreshments; yoiu could take training to existing places where people gather; or you could set up a stall at a local village event or Church Fete; all these could be paid for by a small grant as part of the small grants programme fund.
