A Good Neighbour Scheme is coming



to Abingdon!

• Would you like to be a volunteer for a Good Neighbour Scheme?
• Could you refer your clients to a good neighbour scheme?

If you would like to know more about The Abingdon Good Neighbour Scheme please come along to our informal meeting where we will be discussing ideas and ways of how the scheme will run.

A Good Neighbour’s Scheme is a group of volunteers, organised by a  co-ordinator, who offer support to people living in their community. Examples of this could be shopping for someone who is unable to get out, reading to partially sighted people, doing simple household tasks i.e. changing batteries or a light bulb or offering transport for a doctor’s appointment
