TAKING PART

Taking Part is a scheme set up and managed by the Arts and Leisure Development Team at West Oxfordshire District Council. It offers a menu of creative workshops led by skilled Oxfordshire based artists and is geared specially to people locally who find it difficult to access community based creative activities. It is only available to people and groups within the West Oxfordshire District Council area.

Workshops include Visual Arts(painting, collage, textiles,photography) Performing Arts (music, dance singing....)Written and Spoken Word (storytelling, creative writing....) Digital media/arts(animation, digital photography...)  Workshops are suitable for existing groups or as one off events. Artists have experience of working with hildren and young people, mixed age groups, disabled people and people with mental health needs.

Prices are available on request and the council can help with up to 50% funding and also provide advice on funding available.
